[ the attachment's tilted to show only empty floor—for all of five seconds. there's a squawk in the unseen background, then, and in a blur, the camera's presented with two hands full of cranky-looking bird. ]

Gotch--damn it!

[ you know, two seconds before the hand gets bitten. ]

Fuck, alright.

Let's see if the useless beanpole has gotten any better. Pick a place, I'll be there in a minute. Is it better than your last shitty trick?

[ The sound of those treck wheels rolling is pretty obvious, over the feed. You've got his attention, Kazu. ]

[ ... A SHIFTY SILENCE. ]

It wasn't—was it seriously that bad?
Uh—downtown, abandoned building with the chainlink fence!

It needed a lot of work. So much that I suggest you pretend you never even came up with that crappy trick.

[ He shut off the feed with that-- and despite all the slush on the ground, managed to work around it by trecking on the parts that didn't have snow on them; the edges of buildings, places that got quite a lot of sun, and the sort. ]

[ --until he was up in front of the building, opening the door. The fence wasn't hard to get over at all. ]

[ Curses got kind of patchy—what was charcoal grill weather in other parts of the City left lingering frost in cracks and corners downtown. Kazu got lucky, at least, picking a mostly-dry route to the named place. He liked the building--abandoned but not quite falling to pieces, with an indoors space knocked open just enough to make a decent run in winter. That there was a fence made it even better—the building felt kind of like a base, then, with an unspoken air of claimed territory. Only a few minutes behind Agito, it wasn't a surprise that he'd spot the figure at the rusty doors. ]

Yo, Agito!

[ The words sounded out as Kazu dropped from the top of the chainmesh and made his way over. ]

[ He raised his hand up in response to Kazu's greeting-- a wave, without the waving. It was good enough, for the moment. ]

[ Then, he walked into the building, shaking out what water had gotten into his trecks. ]

Alright, show me what you got. It better be worth the time I'm spending over here, because if it's not, I'll make sure you're not going to waste my time on shitty tricks again.

[ Aka, training boot camp. ]
